UPCOMING: The Nanny Gave Me Life: A Nostalgic Look at Fran Fine’s Iconic 90s Style

One of the best sitcoms to come out of the ’90s? If you disagree with me, I don’t care, because The Nanny gave me life, laughter, and countless good times growing up. I admired each of the fun characters in Fran Fine played by Fran Drescher, Maxwell Sheffield – who was surprisingly non-committal, Niles the Butler, C.C. Babcock – the one we love but hate, the bossy eat-everything mother Sylvia Fine, the shabby friend Val Toriello and my beloved grandmother Yetta.
I relate to The Nanny on many levels, with her family involvement and her penchant for leopard print. I could go on for days, but the real heroes of the show were the outfits worn by the impeccable Miss Fine herself, who to this day remains one of the most beloved style icons of all time. my family (including Cher). From mini dresses, bright, sparkly colors, statement prints, tailored suits and basically everything in between, here we have compiled a list that is not extensive but very worthy of The Nanny’s most beautiful costumes. It’s time for some unforgettable ’90s nostalgia. You’re welcome.

Last but not least, I can’t help but give a special mention to my beloved sequined bomber jacket, Mrs. Yetta. I LOVE YOU. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list because let’s face it, every outfit Nanny wears is worthy of special praise. I also love the best Instagram page @whatfranwore for making this feature happen.
