The cast of 9-1-1 is having a brat summer, and thanks to a behind-the-scenes TikTok, it looks like we have new details about the fate of a fan-favorite character.
The show is gearing up for the season 8 premiere on September 26, and Aisha Hinds got several of her cast mates involved in a popular dance that’s currently circulating on TikTok. In a clip posted to the social media platform, viewers watched her, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Kenneth Choi, Ryan Guzman and production assistant Allison Carr perform the TikTok dance to Charli XCX’s hit single “Apple” as part of the “brat summer” trend. As they all wore their uniforms as part of the 118, Aisha couldn’t help but reference that they’re having a good time dancing in between filming scenes.
“BRAT SUMMER 🫱🏻🫲🏽 118,” she captioned the clip on August 20.
When folks saw the group showing off their dance moves, they had plenty of thoughts about the performance.
“I am just so genuinely amazed that Oliver agreed to do this,” one person wrote. “Everything about this video is absolutely perfect!!! They need to make Ryan do as many dancing trends as possible because he nails them 💅🏼,” another agreed. “How many times did you try to teach Peter the dance before you just gave him the apple to wave around please I need to know,” a different follower added.
While the snippet was seemingly just a fun moment between co-stars, Aisha may have accidentally revealed a major clue about the fate of Peter’s character, Bobby Nash.
Fans remember that Bobby quit being captain of the 118 at the end of 9-1-1 season 7, and it seemed like nothing could convince him to come back to the fire department. Judging by the fact Peter is wearing his old uniform, though, there’s a good chance fans will see him back in the firehouse as part of the rescue team for various emergencies.
Well, it seems like things are going to get quite interesting when it comes time to tune in to 9-1-1 season 8!
