NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven pizza was so nice, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay had to try it twice!
The prolific tv personality ate at both Frank Pepe Pizzeria and Sally’s Apizza this month, according to his Instagram account.
It was part of what he called “an amazing pizza tour through New Haven.”
“Lots of history and delicious pies!” he wrote, adding that it’s inspired him ahead of his pizzeria opening in Washington, D.C.
He shared photos of the famous pies and pizzeria staff.
Sally’s Apizza posted a picture of the chef posing with a box of pizza beside a Sally’s sign.
“So good,” he wrote on the box.
