- Hyacinth’s screen time increased in Bridgerton season 3, but her main storyline is still years away.
- The Netflix show must adapt Benedict, Eloise, and Francesca’s stories before focusing on Hyacinth, meaning her romance likely won’t be depicted until season 7.
- Hyacinth is the focus of the seventh book in the Bridgerton series It’s In His Kiss.
Bridgerton‘s story still has a lot of runway left, given that it’s based on a book series containing eight novels, but it’s interesting (and exciting) how the show’s writers have begun laying the groundwork for season 7 (four seasons ahead of time). The Netflix historical romance television show is based on Julia Quinn’s book series of the same name and chronicles the love lives of the Bridgerton family during the Regency era in London in the early 1800s. Every season of Bridgerton adapts one of Quinn’s novels, with each book centering around one of the Bridgerton siblings.
Bridgerton season 1 depicts Daphne’s marriage to Simon Basset, while season 2 revolves around Anthony’s love story with Kate Sharma and season 3 is about Colin and Penelope’s slow-burn romance. As a result, the remaining Bridgerton siblings who have yet to have their tales told on the screen are Benedict, Eloise, Francesca, Hyacinth, and Gregory. The subject of season 4 is still a mystery (and can be narrowed down to three contenders). However, I’m inclined to believe that Bridgerton season 7 will be all about Hyacinth, and the show is already setting up her story.
