When does Bridgerton Season 3 start filming?
The gilded doors of Bridgerton Season 3 open in July 2022; the cast announced the production news with a video that looks back to the beloved Season 2 finale moment. Bailey, who leads Season 2 as the dashing Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, begins the clip by making a hand gesture for the number 2 and then moves it to a 3. Anthony did the same gesture in Season 2, Episode 8 with his love interest Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) to “balance” her after a near-catastrophic fall.
The rest of Bailey’s co-stars follow suit, including Jessie, Andoh, Gemmell, and Thompson. Newton finally appears to make a 3 sign, only to open a carriage for the video’s final star, Coughlan, who gets a serious style upgrade as Penelope.
“Filming on Bridgerton Season 3 has officially begun,” she said, before turning to Newton and asking, “Are you in?” Fans of Quinn’s Bridgerton series may be especially excited to see this playful exchange—it’s a nod to Polin’s famously steamy carriage scene in the novel Romancing Mister Bridgerton. “I can’t confirm or deny what’s in [Season 3] and what’s not… But from what I hear, people are going to be extremely pleased,” Coughlan told Tudum.
Is Bridgerton back after Season 3?
Like Anthony’s competitiveness coming out in a game of Charades, Bridgerton’s return is a certainty. Season 4 has been confirmed for 2021, and we now know which sibling will be leading the charge: the dashing Bridgerton second son, Benedict. The proud gypsy is about to meet the charming Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
What happens when the sparks fly? You’ll find out when Bridgerton Season 4 makes its grand debut on Netflix — and until then, keep checking back to Tudum for all the latest Lady Whistledown news.
