Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan has revealed the very thoughtful birthday present gifted to her by co-star Luke Newton.
All eyes are on Coughlan and Newton presently in the new series of Bridgerton, which follows the love story of their characters Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton (otherwise known to fans as ‘Polin’)
To commemorate the recent release of season three, Coughlan shared some sweet behind-the-scene photos with her fellow cast members on Instagram, revealing in the caption Newton’s sweet gift.
“Few Bits,” she wrote. “Any ones that are bad quality are from a disposable, any ones that are nice quality are from when @lukenewtonuk bought me a vintage camera for my bday cos on screen and off he’s the best.”
The first photo shows Nicola hugging co-star Claudia Jessie, who plays Eloise Bridgerton in the show. Whilst their on-screen characters find their friendship strained in season three, it appears there’s no bad blood between the two in real life.
Newton can be seen posing for the camera in a number of snaps, including one with his Bridgerton siblings Eloise (Jessie) and Benedict (played by Luke Thompson).
Other co-stars to feature include season 2’s leading star Simone Ashley smiling with season 3 newcomer Hannah New. Plus, fellow new cast addition Sam Phillips and Cressida Cowper actor Jessica Madsen.
Polly Walker (Lady Featherington) and Lorraine Ashbourne (Featherington maid Varley) also pose together in costume in another sweet snap.
The first four episodes of Bridgerton, known as part 1, dropped last Thursday (May 16) with part two arriving on Netflix in mid June.
Bridgerton seasons 1, 2 and 3 part 1 are streaming now on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Bridgerton season 3 part 2 premieres on June 13.
