Martin Henderson just hinted at the update Virgin River fans have been longing for.
After Season 4 of the Netflix drama series premiered last summer, fans were left begging for more. But a recent Cameo ordered from the actor shocked fans with a welcome realization: the Season 5 premiere of Virgin River is much closer than you may think.
In the video, which has since gone viral and been reposted by multiple fan accounts online, Henderson, 48, teased fans with a potential release date and details on what’s to come.
“‘Virgin River’ season five coming out, I think, probably in July. So not long now, a few months,” the actor who portrays Jack Sheridan revealed, adding: “Another installment of hot, steamy gossip and intrigue on the river.”
Henderson’s co-star, Alexandra Breckenridge, who plays lead Mel Monroe, also alluded to a summer release in a separate video, also making its rounds online. “The fifth season that’ll come out probably, I don’t know, maybe July again?” Breckenridge, 40, suggested. “I’m not sure; nobody’s really updated me!”
The likelihood that the stars are correct and Netflix treats fans to another hot new season of its original romantic drama this summer is pretty high, given that the last two seasons also debuted in July.
As of writing, the streamer has yet to confirm the release date for Season 5. But hopefully, in the coming weeks, an official announcement will be made, and fans can begin counting down the days.
