Not long after she celebrated a major anniversary with her husband, Valeri Bure, Candace Cameron Bure was feeling nostalgic as she looked back on her childhood, sharing a sweet throwback photo with fans.
Cameron Bure took to her Instagram Stories to post a picture of herself as a little girl, grinning brightly as she hula hooped outside. She wore her long hair in two pigtails with bows, a long-sleeved shirt and cute cuffed jeans.
The Fuller House actress wrote alongside the image inviting fans to share their own childhood photos, saying, “Everyone tap in. Let’s see you as a kid.”
It’s unclear how old Cameron Bure was when the photo was taken. She began her acting career in the early 1980s, with her first credited part on IMDb in 1982, in the TV series St. Elsewhere playing the character Megan White. She would return to play White a few more times over the next couple of years.
Cameron Bure got her star-making role as D.J. Tanner in Full House in 1987, and she played the character in the original series until 1995. She later reprised the role in the sequel series Fuller House, which aired from 2016 to 2020.
Unlike some other child actors, Cameron Bure has continued acting for decades, and most recently, she starred in the TV movie Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker.
Along with her acting career, Cameron Bure also spends a lot of time with her family, including husband Valeri and their three kids, Natasha, Lev and Maksim.
On Aug. 18, the 48-year-old and her husband celebrated the 30th anniversary of the day they met, with Cameron Bure writing, “I love growing old with you, my love đâ¤ď¸đĽ°.” The couple got married around two years after meeting, on June 22, 1996.
