BREAKING NEWS: 7 Wild and Wonderful Moments from the 9-1-1 Cast on Celebrity Family Feud

The cast of 9-1-1 competed on Celebrity Family Feud in an episode airing Monday, September 16th and for fans of the show there was a lot of laughter, a lot of “guys what are you thinking?!” and just a lot of great vibes from a cast that seems to really and truly like each other. So, what can we do but break down the best moments from the appearance of Oliver Stark, Ryan Guzman, Aisha Hinds, Tracie Thoms, and Brian Safi on Celebrity Family Feud? Let us be honest, the cast of Jury Duty never had a chance! (Even though they were objectively better all game)

When They Couldn’t Get One Answer Right

If you watched the first …eh, half of the 9-1-1 cast appearance on Celebrity Family Feud and caught yourself thinking: this is the most chaotic thing ever, you aren’t alone! They actually managed to make it most of the game with zero points. It was like they couldn’t get one thing right, and the Jury Duty team was getting everything right. And yet, somehow, they pulled out a win. Was anyone more surprised than them? Well, yes, us!

When Brian Safi Won the Game, Basically

“Busy as a …bee”? Really? With a bee-nado coming, that’s what the cast of 9-1-1 won Celebrity Family Feud on? It always feels like serendipity. Or maybe, since this was filmed a while ago, the writers just took a page from that and decided to laugh all the way to a swarm. Either way, it feels like the perfect promo for Season 8 of 9-1-1, we’re not going to lie. And the fact that Brian got to be the one to go out there and confidently win it? Perfection.

When Ryan Guzman Went All Catholic on Us

You don’t even have to be a practicing catholic to default to your abuela’s vibe of hands together in prayer and looking up to the heavens Latino vibes. And Guzman was doing this a fair bit during the episode. We’re not even sure he was doing it on purpose. This is one of those things that’s kind of ingrained in us. But whether he was doing it on purpose or not, it kinda worked so we’ll give it to him.

When Oliver Stark Was Confidently Team Captain

Celebrity Family Feud

Confidence was the name of the game when it came to Oliver Stark, whether his team was going for the bonus at the end or when they were losing a lot to zero. If the job of team Captain was to keep up morale and make everyone else believe they could do this thing, well, Stark played his part to perfection. He even had me believing they could do the thing …and, hey, they did so he was right. Plus, did he kill at the end or what?

The Way Aisha Hinds and Tracie Thoms Looked Like They Belonged

Aisha Hinds and Tracie Thoms came into this show looking like they were going to beat everyone and take names. And well, the team struggled in general, but they carried that vibe all the way to the times we saw the team huddle for an answer. Now, we have no proof of who came up with the answers, but we also have no doubts that these two had something to do with the team winning. Even if Thoms (and Guzman) both made the mistake of making a noise (or saying an unrelated word) and therefore losing a turn, in the end, the team pulled it off and after the celebration was over, both Hinds and Thoms looked very, very pleased.

The Fact That They Still Had Fun, Even When They Were Losing

Celebrity Family Feud

Sometimes people get competitive on shows like Celebrity Family Feud. We’ve seen it before. The cast of 9-1-1, however? They were vibing, truly vibing. Even when they were down by a lot and they were getting beaten badly, no one made a face or looked like they were having anything but a blast, and no one seemed too upset when the person next to them said something that made absolutely no sense.

That Unhinged Hug at the End

Talk about people who liked each other. Oliver and Brian hugging! Ryan running to them and then jumping on them. The group hug! The way every little good moment was celebrated by absolutely every one of them and every bad moment was shrugged off. How can we not be even more excited for 9-1-1 to return with solid proof that the people who make the show like each other this much?
