Brace Yourself: “Tracker” Season 2 is Back with More Thrills

  • CBS gives Tracker an early season 2 renewal.
  • Tracker ranks as the #1 show on TV, garnering millions of viewers for each episode.
  • Tracker is only a few episodes into season 1, making this renewal particularly speedy and impressive.

Tracker has already scored a season 2 renewal at CBS. Based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel The Never Game, the new show follows the story of a man named Colter Shaw, who travels the country in an RV helping people locate missing persons and solve crimes. The Tracker cast features Justin Hartley, Robin Wright, Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, and Fiona Rene.

As per Paramount, Tracker has now been officially renewed for season 2. It will be a part of the 2024–2025 television season. CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach indicated that Tracker’s renewal was due to its high ratings and the fact that the series “has kept the momentum going.” Check out the full quote from Reisenbach below:

“TRACKER kicked off our premiere week with a ratings bang and has kept the momentum going. We knew we had something special when we saw the very first cut of the series and the overwhelming audience response confirms it. We couldn’t be more grateful to Justin, the talented cast, the incredible writing and producing teams and our partners at 20th Television for such compelling episodes. And, of course, we’re also so thankful to the millions of viewers tuning in each week.”
