Simone Biles has avoided the fury of Chicago Bears fans by donning a sweater carrying the team’s name for Sunday’s game against the Rams.
The Olympics superstar made something of a fashion faux pas earlier in the season when she wore an outdated custom jacket in support of her husband Jonathan Owens – which carried an image of him in his old Green Bay Packers jersey.
In the aftermath of the incident she joked that it wouldn’t happen again – and Biles stayed true to her word on Sunday by showing off her newest Bears fit.
Biles planted a kiss on her husband Owens as the pair enjoyed a sweet moment in Chicago ahead of the game.
The 27-year-old was joined by her friends at the side of the field, before she takes to the stage again tonight on the next stop of her ‘Gold Over America’ tour.
Biles has been a regular guest in the VIP suites for Bears games this season, as she supports her husband, who plays safety.
Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera are among the other gymnastics stars on the tour, and Carey was among the famous names accompanying Biles at the Bears game.
The Bears headed into Sunday’s game with a 1-2 record – the same as their opponent LA – and looked to snap a two-game losing streak.
