Shereé Whitfield Slams Real Housewives Newbie: ‘Alleged Scammer’

Original The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) castmate Shereé Whitfield is shading newbie Brittany Eady, who joined the series’ cast for its upcoming 16th season. Although Whitfield will not appear in season 16, she’s not exempt from the drama. Eady and Whitfield’s partook in an online spat that began after Whitfield spoke with TMZ about friend and former castmate Kenya Moore’s exit from the series – Moore has been accused of publicly showing illicit images of Eady. In a video shared by TMZ, Whitfield was asked about Moore’s departure.

“My God. I hate to see my girl Kenya go out like that, but as an OG, it’s kinda hard to sit back and watch the show kind of slowly sink the way it is. So, I’m not happy. I don’t like it.”

Eady, alleging that the TMZ interview with Whitfield was staged, wrote in an Instagram comment:

” TMZ in Atlanta… interesting.”

Whitfield quickly retorted through an Instagram story where she wrote:

“Alleged scammers on Housewives …interesting.”

Eady, an insurance agent, joined the RHOA cast alongside fellow newbies Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley for its 16th season. Following the announcement of her addition to the RHOA group, Eady would quickly make headlines following an incident between her and longstanding RHOA member Moore (who has continuously appeared on the series since its fifth season in 2012). After discord between the two women, Moore allegedly shared sexually explicit images of Eady during a launch event for her new business, Kenya Moore Hair Spa. According to several outlets, the event was being recorded for the televised series.

The incident led Eady’s lawyers to contact Bravo, who quickly launched an investigation. The result would be Moore’s departure from the series, but exactly why remains unknown: while there have been reports that the network indefinitely suspended Moore, there is also speculation that she quit as she disagreed with the way her situation was handled.

Kenya Moore Denies Allegations & Promises Proof

Moore has denied the revenge porn allegations. In a shared picture (via Instagram) of her daughter sitting in the sand at a secluded beach, Moore thanked her supporters, noting that her “heart is full and my conscience is clear.” Moore concludes the post by stating:

“The rumors and narrative about me randomly showing nudes or revenge porn is 1000% untrue. I have proof and will share soon.”

Eady, Ferrell, and Oakley are joined by returning RHOA stars Drew Sidora and Porsha Williams (who has not appeared in the franchise since 2021) and Shamea Morton Mwangi, who has appeared on the show since 2012 but never as a leading cast member. While Whitfield – who most recently appeared in Traitors‘ sophomore season – won’t join the ladies for its upcoming season, she’s not opposed to returning to the series in the future.

“As an OG, I always feel like an OG’s presence is always welcomed or needed on the series no matter what capacity,” Whitfield told TMZ. “So, I never say never. If the coin is right, I just might.”
