Wendy Williams reveals why she would let her children watch The Cosby Show when it returns to TV

The Cosby Show is returning to TV after the re-runs were pulled from networks because of sexual abuse allegations made against its big star – Bill Cosby. But it’s coming back, and Wendy Williams claims she would let her child watch.

The controversial chat show host announced that Bounce TV was set to bring the show back to life on its channel in December, and Wendy said that if she had children or grandchildren, she would encourage them to watch the popular but now-tainted 90s family show.

Cosby has denied the allegations made against him.

Before making her statement, Wendy begged her audience not to “throw tomatoes” at her.
“I would have no problem with my children watching The Cosby Show, because if you take Bill Cosby and what he’s been accused of doing out of the equation, this is still a terrific example of a family, particularly for my people of a family,” Wendy said.
“When The Cosby Show came out a lot of people outside of my community, the black community, had no idea what it was to see a fully formed black family.”

She later added that she would be intrigued to now watch the show back for ‘clues’.

“In my mind, only reason why I would be watching is looking for body language and what was really going on,” Wendy said.
