Why Love Is Blind Didn’t Follow Brittany and Leo After the Pods and What’s Next for Them

In Love Is Blind Season 7, Brittany Wisniewski and Leo Braudy’s journey took a surprising turn after they were introduced as a potential couple in the pods. Despite strong initial chemistry, including engaging conversations and an engagement, they were ultimately not selected to continue their relationship in Mexico.

Creator Chris Coelen revealed that while filming all the couples’ journeys was part of the process, only those couples who were seen as most likely to reach the altar were followed closely. In this case, Leo and Brittany’s connection was deemed weaker compared to the other couples, which led to the decision to not feature them beyond the initial episodes.

Though they were not part of the post-pod trip to Mexico, their story was still significant as it intersected with the journeys of other key cast members, particularly Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka. Leo’s emotional conflict between Brittany and Hannah played a role in these other relationships, making his presence essential in the narrative.

After being cut from the series’ primary storyline, Brittany and Leo decided to embark on their own trip to Miami, where they ended their engagement. This decision was made mutually, acknowledging that while their connection was strong, it wasn’t romantic enough to continue to the altar. They parted ways amicably and have since remained good friends.

Despite their journey not being fully explored, both Brittany and Leo are expected to make an appearance at the reunion, giving fans a final glimpse into their post-show lives and reflections on their experience. Their story may not have concluded as viewers initially hoped, but it added an important dynamic to the season’s narrative.
