Netflix Takes ‘Love Is Blind’ to Paris: Get Ready for a French Twist on the Global Hit!

Love is Blind fans, get ready to say “je t’aime” in a whole new way—Netflix is bringing its iconic dating experiment to the romantic heart of the world. That’s right: Love is Blind: France is officially on its way and set to debut in 2025.

The show, already a worldwide sensation with adaptations in Mexico, Japan, and the U.K., is now heading to the country synonymous with love and passion. France marks the 11th country to adapt the hit series, and this version promises to bring a cultural twist that’s as uniquely French as a freshly baked croissant.

What Makes France’s Version Special?

During Netflix’s international showcase, Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria shared the exciting announcement and hinted at what makes this iteration stand out.

Love is Blind is truly about finding compatibility before chemistry,” Bajaria explained. “In India, we’re familiar with the idea of arranged matches, but in other places, this concept is revolutionary. With Love is Blind: France, we’re taking the experiment to the city of love itself, and I think viewers will be surprised by how the French approach this journey.”

But there’s more to the French version than its picturesque backdrop. According to Bajaria, the show’s format adapts to the culture it explores, making each international version feel fresh and deeply personal.

“We don’t just swap in a local host and cast,” she added. “Each adaptation is tailored to reflect its culture. Love is Blind: Sweden is entirely different from Love is Blind: Habibi, which connects Arab singles. It’s fascinating to see love and dating traditions unfold in such unique ways.”

Who’s Hosting?

While U.S. fans know Nick and Vanessa Lachey as the faces of Love is Blind and the U.K. version is hosted by celebrity couple Matt and Emma Willis, the French hosts remain a mystery. Will Netflix tap into France’s rich celebrity scene to find the perfect couple to guide participants through their pod-to-partnership journey?

Why France? Why Now?

France, long considered the epicenter of romance, feels like a natural next step for the show. From candlelit dinners to declarations of love on the Seine, Paris and its people are no strangers to grand romantic gestures. But how will French singles navigate the unique pressure of connecting sight unseen?

More to Love

As production ramps up, fans of the series are already buzzing with speculation about the cast, the locations, and how the French language and culture will add a new dimension to the Love is Blind experience. Will sparks fly—or will participants find that love isn’t as blind as they hoped?
