The showrunner decided that it was worth giving this idea a chance – and that’s exactly what happened. He added that Teryl Rothery and Mark Ghanime did a great job with their on-screen chemistry. The cast also had a lot of fun after the musical performance we saw in the Christmas episode.

But the holiday episodes of “Virgin River” season 5 also outlined the problem that their relationship may face. First of all, Muriel doesn’t want to start a family, and Cameron wants children, which he talked about from the beginning. Additionally, his ex appeared in town.
