Actors We Would Like To See In The New ‘Twilight’ Series

It is no surprise that after the announcement of a Harry Potter series in the works at HBO Max that it will be announced that a Twilight series is in the works. Millennials will remember the rivalry between the fandoms, so it is exciting to see that both franchises are getting the series treatment. Let’s take a look at some actors we would love to see take on the main roles in the new series.

Grace Van Dien: Rosalie
Grace is best known for playing Chrissy in season 4 of Stranger Things. She has a great personality and would fit the role of Rosalie perfectly. I can already picture her in the wedding dress busting through her fiance’s door!

Connor Swindells: Emmett
Connor is most recently known for his role as Adam Groff on Sex Education. He has the look and personality of Emmett, and I honestly think he fits Emmett from the book even better than Kellan Lutz did in the films (although I do love him!).

Malia Pyles: Alice
Malia is still making a name for herself, but she hit my radar last summer when she played Minnie ‘Mouse’ Honrada in Pretty Littler Liars: Original Sin. She is quirky and sweet, but can also be incredibly terrifying and intimidating when she needs to be. She would be the perfect Alice!

Austin Butler: Jasper
Austin is known for so many different roles, but it was his dedication to the role in Elvis that made him my pick for Jasper. This character is dynamic and has a very specific accent that Austin has shown he is willing and able to do. Plus when he has his blond hair he already looks like Jasper!

Jack Lowden: Carlisle
Jack has played so many different roles, but his most recent has been on Apple TV’s Slow Horses where he plays spy River Cartwright. He is handsome and can be incredibly intimidating but also sweet and endearing. He also looks like what I always pictured Carlisle to look like.

Meghann Fahy: Esme
Meghann is known for the role of Sutton on The Bold Type and most recently for playing Daphne in season two of The White Lotus. She is a dynamic actress, but she almost always plays a sweet but determined character. She looks more like the Esme described in the books and would work perfectly with Jack Lowden’s Carlisle.

Tyler Blackburn: James
Tyler is most known for his role as Caleb Rivers on Pretty Little Liars. He has a great rugged look and can easily play a dangerous rogue vampire. His personality would also work with James’ backstory and how easily he can charm female vampires.

Dove Cameron: Victoria
Dove is an absolute powerhouse on and off the screen. A few years ago I would have cast her as Rosalie or Alice, but after her makeover and darker music, she would be the ultimate Victoria. She would also kill it like a redhead!

Corbin Bleu: Laurent
Corbin is best known for his role as Chad in the High School Musical films. He has so much acting talent that I feel goes unnoticed 90% of the time. I think he will make an amazing Laurent, but I am more excited to see what new life he can breathe into the character!

Nathan Fillion: Charlie Swan
Nathan is known for the roles of Cayde-6 in Destiny, John Nolan on The Rookie, and Captain Malcolm “Mal” Reynolds in Firefly. He has worked with Disney, Marvel Studios, and DC, and in every role he has brought his unique brand of humor. This humor and personality perfectly fit the way Charlie is described in the books.

Adam Beach: Billy Black
Adam has been acting on TV and film for decades both as side and main characters. He brings warmth and wisdom to each role that he plays which is exactly the type of actor needed for this role. The role of Billy Black is pivotal to the plot as he acts as a sort of narrator who provides both Bella and the audience with information that only he possesses.

Bailee Madison: Bella
Bailee has been making a name for herself since she was a young child, but it was her role as Imogen Adams in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin that showed her depth as an actor. While Bella is seen by many as a timid and annoying character, she shows in every book how strong she is, and if it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have a story past book one. Bailee can play a timid character, but she has also shown that when the time comes she can play a truly intimidating and larger-than-life character.

Tom Glynn-Carney: Edward
Tom made a name for himself with the role of Prince/King Aegon II Targaryen in House of the Dragon. While this role shows his more timid side, I feel like he not only has the look of Edward Cullen, but he will also fit into the role with ease. He easily demands attention when on screen, so he will have no trouble holding his own, especially with the Volturi.

Forrest Goodluck: Jacob
Forrest is still making a name for himself, but most will remember his acting debut as Hawk in The Revenant. Since he is still a lesser-known actor, it allows him to step into this role and truly make it his own.
