As he watched Kian sauté beef in a pan, Gordon wanted to know his age, as he was impressed by his confidence in the kitchen. “The sautéing was amazing,” said the Chef.
“Damn! Those knife skills are amazing!” Gordon exclaimed as he watched Kian expertly dice onions and chestnut mushrooms. He then added some butter and caramelized the diced onions and chestnut mushrooms. As he watched the boy caramelize the ingredients, Gordon called it “amazing.” Kian also blanched the spinach and pureed it. At this point, Gordon even recommended Kian to join MasterChef Adults right away.
