If there’s one thing you can see in these behind-the-scenes photos from Virgin River, it’s that the cast of the series has absolutely no fun at work. Just kidding — big smiles and copious hugs are all over these shots, which were captured on the set of the final two episodes of Virgin River Season 5 by stars Alexandra Breckenridge, Sarah Dugdale, and Kai Bradbury.
Tudum gave the trio their own instant cameras as they filmed the upcoming Christmas episodes, out Nov. 30, and these photos are the results of their on-set adventures. Which, again, we’re sure were no fun at all.
Check out their grins as they goof around behind the scenes — you’ll see that the shots also include fellow cast members Martin Henderson, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Zibby Allen, Marco Grazzini, Teryl Rothery, and Kandyse McClure.
Much like their characters, the actors enjoy each other’s company off-screen as well. That intergenerational harmony is one of the reasons the show appeals to people of all ages. “You get to see a piece of yourself in the show, whatever age you’re at, whatever stage of your life you’re in,” Dugdale told Tudum on set last year. Bradbury, her on-screen love interest, added: “And each generation has their own problems, but each coupling gives you that unique perspective to bounce between in the show. I think it really balances.”
Virgin River returns Nov. 30 with two holiday-themed episodes.
