Tracker Season 2 Premiere Date Confirmed At CBS
The release date for Tracker season 2 has been confirmed at CBS. Led by This Is Us alum Hartley, and created by Ben H. Winters, with Elwood Reid as showrunner, the action drama centers on Hartley’s Colter Shaw. He’s a skilled survivalist who earns his living by helping law enforcement and others track down what they need in exchange for money. The premise proved to be a hit for CBS, reaching viewership highs, and getting a quick renewal for Tracker season 2.
CBS has unveiled its Fall TV schedule, noting that Tracker season 2 is premiering on Sunday, October 27 at 8:30 PM ET. It will then move to its regular timeslot, starting Sunday, November 3 at 8 PM ET.

According to data from Nielsen, the broadcaster garnered 5.59 million viewers each night in primetime when accounting for the Live + 7 data that looks at viewership across seven days. It sets up CBS as the most-watched broadcast network for the 16th consecutive season, helped in no small part by Tracker.

The Justin Hartley series, with a Tracker supporting cast that includes Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, and Fiona Rene, is the most-watched show of the previous broadcast season. It quickly found an audience since premiering after the 2024 Super Bowl. When looking at viewership across 35 days, Tracker season 1 nabbed 20.4 million viewers with each episode. It comes in well ahead of other popular CBS shows, like Young Sheldon and NCIS, each getting around 12.9 million viewers. Ghosts, also on CBS, got 11.9 million viewers.
