The end of Season 1 leaves shocking news for Shaw about his father. The finale episode has Shaw’s childhood friend, Lizzy Hawking revealing that her mother and Shaw’s father had an affair.
Season 2 And Trailer
Colter Shaw is back to his tracking roots in the trailer for the upcoming season. The trailer shows Shaw working to track down someone’s brother. If Shaw wasn’t giving superhero vibes before, the trailer has him telling this new customer, “I get paid only in success.” Additionally, Shaw gets told about a “weird” job, but that does not deter him at all.
Shaw is seen kissing an unknown woman in the trailer along with some fight scenes. This might challenge Shaw’s lone-wolf lifestyle. Can the great Colter Shaw catch feelings?
Within the different scenes shown in the trailer, Shaw has a car ride with his older brother, Russell. Russell is played by Jenson Ackles. Furthermore, there is an appearance from another bounty Hunter, Billie Matalon. Matalon is played by Sofia Pernas who is Justin Hartley’s real-life wife.
Hartley was very happy to have Ackles back reprising his role as he revealed at the Summer Television Critics Association 2024 Press Tour. Additionally, this took place in California in July.
Is There A Romance In The Cards?
Fiona Rene will also be reprising her role as the lawyer, Reenie Green. PEOPLE reported that Justin Hartley enjoys that his character is living the lone-wolf, single life. However, due to the trailer, perhaps he changed his tune or didn’t have much of a choice.
In the Tracker trailer, Green brings up the topic of the bounty hunter, Billie. However, it’s clear Shaw does not want to discuss her as he asks to get back to work.
In Season 1 Episode 6, “Lexington,” Pernas was a guest star. Her character sparked some romance with Colter. Their relationship gave a “will they, won’t they” feeling. Colter asked Billie to dinner which she declined despite being the one to suggest it earlier.
Pernas believes her character is not good at expressing how she feels and does not want to admit to having feelings for Colter. Perhaps there is a love triangle in the cards, but fans will have to wait and see.
Make sure to check out Season 2 of Tracker on CBS on October 13th. Furthermore, it will also be available to stream on Paramount Plus. Until then, fans can watch Season 1 on Paramount Plus or Amazon Prime.
