‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 Trailer: Newly Engaged to Colin, Penelope Struggles to Hide Her Identity as Lady Whistledown

Readers, prepare for Polin’s engagement. Or will Lady Whistledown get in the way of this lovely wedding, as she has in previous seasons?

Netflix has released the trailer for the second half of “Bridgerton” Season 3. As fan-favorite couple Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) prepare for their surprise wedding, Penelope faces the looming threat that Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jesse) knows her secret identity as gossip queen Lady Whistledown. At a ball, Eloise raises a toast to the couple’s engagement, dedicating it to “Knowing Each Other Really.”

The trailer asks: Can Penelope keep her dual identity as Lady Whistledown? Or will Colin discover her secret and call off their hasty marriage?

Part 1 of the season saw Colin guiding Penelope in her search for a husband, as she almost found love in Lord Debling (Sam Phillips). However, after a steamy scene between the two friends at the end of the first season, Colin proposed to Penelope. It’s unclear whether Eloise, who has known Penelope is Lady Whistledown since the end of Season 2, will reveal the truth to Colin and the upper class.

Season 3 of “Bridgerton” is split into two parts, with the first four episodes released on May 16. The first half achieved the biggest debut in the series’ history, attracting more than 41 million views in its first four days of streaming.

Part 2 of the season, also consisting of four episodes, is scheduled to premiere on June 13.
