Candace Cameron Bure Thanks Fans After Loss

Hallmark actress Candace Cameron Bure took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message with her fans following a challenging weekend. The Fuller House star revealed that her family had said their final goodbyes to her father-in-law, Vladimir Bure, who passed away on September 3rd at the age of 73.

In her Instagram Stories on September 8th, Bure wrote, “Thank you for all the sweet words, texts, phone calls, and condolences to our family. It was a difficult weekend. We feel very blessed to have a strong, supportive family who loves each other and incredible friends.” She also included a touching tribute to her father-in-law, sharing a throwback photo and adding, “RIP Vladimir Bure. You will always be in our hearts.”

A Loving Tribute to Vladimir Bure

Candace Cameron Bure also posted a moving tribute on Instagram, reflecting on the profound impact her father-in-law had on her and her family. She wrote, “Our hearts are broken as we grieve the loss of Val’s dad, Vladimir Bure. I love this man so much. To me, he represents not only the gift of life (my husband) that I am forever grateful for, but one of strength, dedication, motivation, willpower, and love.”

She continued, “In my mind, he was the epitome of each of those words, a little bit superhuman in some ways. Vladimir was a 4x Olympic medalist in swimming and a 2x Stanley Cup-winning coach for the New Jersey Devils. He was a proud father, grandfather, husband, and dedicated coach. Most of all, I know how much he loved his family. Thank you for praying for all of the Bure family as we grieve. We love you, Vladimir, and you’ll forever be in our hearts.”

Vladimir Bure’s Legacy

Vladimir Bure is survived by his two sons, Pavel and Valery Bure, both of whom had successful careers in the NHL. Candace Cameron Bure, married to Valery Bure, expressed her deep gratitude for the family that Vladimir helped build and the legacy he left behind.

After the news of Vladimir Bure’s passing, many of Candace Cameron Bure’s famous friends shared their condolences on social media.

“Dancing With the Stars” pro Valentin Chmerkovskiy commented, “Such a loss,” while his brother, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, left a broken heart emoji.

Actress Marilu Henner sent her support, writing, “Aww. I know how much you loved him! I’m sending you all much love and good thoughts. The only thing worse than losing someone you love is never having had them in the first place! I miss you and I love you.”
