Elon Musk Returns to Bitcoin? New Rumors Emerged After Musk’s Recent Social Media Action

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla and a long-time supporter of Dogecoin, used to be quite big on Bitcoin. A few years ago, he even said that Tesla would start accepting Bitcoin payments, which it did for a few months. However, in May 2021, Musk announced that Tesla had decided to stop accepting Bitcoin payments due to the coin’s major carbon footprint.

As a company selling electric vehicles with the goal of improving the environment, accepting a cryptocurrency with such a major carbon footprint would be unethical. However, it has been three years since then, Bitcoin has completed its fourth halving a few months ago, and the market is awaiting the next rally.

This was the time when Musk decided to bring back his laser eyes photo on X, causing rumors that he may be returning to BTC to emerge.

For years now, the laser eyes meme in the context of BTC and cryptocurrency, in general, represents the bullish sentiment and optimism among crypto community members.

With Elon Musk posting this photo at a time when the crypto sector expects a major rally to kick off, many have started saying that he is bullish on Bitcoin and that he may return to the BTC community.

On top of that, a recent post by 99Bitcoins, a popular platform that provides educational content regarding digital assets, reported that there is speculation that Musk’s private jet touched down in Nashville ahead of the BTC conference.

While the crypto community is considering whether it is time to start buying BTC, which might even kick off the long-awaited rally, many crypto experts believe that the biggest gains come from small-cap projects. Even better, investors often look to cryptos that are still in presale, and with meme coins being the hottest trend of 2024, meme coin presales have been raising a lot of money this year.

Shiba Shootout is a good example of this. It emerged as a Shiba Inu clone, but it placed the popular dog meme in the Wild West setting. The project, which has already launched the base version of its P2E game on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, is the hottest game among cowboy fans who are also meme coin enthusiasts.

The game introduces characters like Marshal Shiba and Shiba Sharpshooters, and it all takes place around the fictional town of Shiba Gulch. Meanwhile, the project’s ICO has raised over $760k, while its SHIBASHOOT token sells for $0.0196.
