Vivian Wilson spent her Thursday morning likely unpacking a bunch of childhood trauma in order to call out her estranged father, Elon Musk.
On Monday’s episode of “The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast,” the billionaire tech mogul stated that his 20-year-old child is “dead” — because she transitioned from male to female.
In the episode, Musk made himself out to be a victim of Wilson’s gender transition and legal name change (she changed her legal name in 2022 and opted for the last name of her mother, Canadian author Justine Wilson) and claimed he had been “tricked” into signing paperwork that allowed Vivian to go on puberty blockers.
Musk also dialed up his transphobic rhetoric by referring to Wilson with male pronouns and by her birth name.
“So my son Xavier is dead. Killed by the woke mind virus,” Musk told Peterson.
“I look pretty good for a dead bitch,” Wilson commented Thursday on the Threads social media platform in response to a headline about Musk’s remarks about her.
When one of Wilson’s Threads followers commented that they “hope you’re not too bothered by what he says about you,” she responded with:
“I’m not lol. I’ve just started to find it funny at this point. Calling me dead on a podcast with JORDAN PETERSON of all people while basically admitting you have zero reading comprehension by saying you were ‘tricked’ into signing documents that you read over multiple times is basically a parody of itself. Like it’s honestly camp.”
But this was just an amuse bouche for the feast of fiery words Wilson served Thursday morning to Musk on Threads.
She began by announcing that she was going to “debunk” numerous things her father has said publicly, starting with a screenshot of a tweet he posted Monday on X, the social media platform he owns, about Wilson.
In it, Musk said Wilson was “was born gay and slightly autistic, two attributes that contribute to gender dysphoria.”
He added: “I knew that from when he was about 4 years old and he would pick out clothes for me to wear like a jacket and tell me it was ‘fabulous!’, as well as his love of musicals & theatre.”
Wilson responded to her dad’s tweet saying she found it to be “the funniest” thing he said about her because it sounded more like fiction than reality.
“This is entirely fake. Like, literally none of this ever happened. Ever. I don’t even know where he got this from,” Wilson said. “My best guess is that he went to the Milo [Yiannopoulos] school of gay stereotypes, just picked some at random and said ‘eh- good enough’ in a last-ditch attempt to garner sympathy points when he is so obviously in the wrong even in his own fucking story.”
(It should be noted that Yiannopoulos is a far-right personality who claims to be “ex-gay” and says he regards homosexuality as “an addiction.”)
Wilson went on to point out how a few more holes in Musk’s description of her at age 4.
“I did not have a ‘love of musicals & theatre’ when I was four, because y’know… I was fucking four,” Wilson said, noting that her first real encounter with musicals came from her twin brother’s obsession with the “Hamilton” soundtrack in “8th/9th grade” when her sibling played it so often that Wilson “swore off the entire genre” for “a long time.”
