Several cast members of the original Full House family comedy reveal which iconic prop from the ABC sitcom they kept when the series ended.
Several Full House cast members reveal the props they kept from the set. Almost three decades since the ABC family sitcom ended, the show continues to be popular among its established fan base, with new followers thanks to its availability on streaming platforms. Netflix’s Fuller House, which functions as a sequel show, helped in its renaissance.
In light of this, the cast of Full House reunited at ’90s Con (via CinemaBlend), where they revealed some new behind-the-scenes stories about their time working on both shows. They also shared which props from the original series they brought home with them, and it seems like Dave Coulier had the coolest one from the bunch. Read their full answers below:
Dave Coulier: “I got the woodchuck.”
Jodie Sweetin: “I have…does anyone remember that weird little sea-pappy statue by the stairs? Right? That weird thing. I got its head sitting on my bookshelf. [answering Candace Cameron Bure] I have Mr. Bear. The O.G. Mr. Bear.”
Andrea Barber: “Well, I kept all my Kimmy accessories, which I brought with me here tonight. And then I got a cookie jar that looks like the Full House house from the kitchen set.”
Candace Cameron-Bure: “I still have my Pillow Person. I took the mugs that we always drink from it in Fuller House. They just had our initials on them.”
Can Another Full House Spin-Off Ever Happen
When Fuller House ended with season 5, some of its cast members candidly revealed that they were expecting the show would be renewed for at least another year. The writers even saved several plot lines for the scrapped year, including more focus on Stephanie’s journey as a mother. Given this, it isn’t surprising that many of them are proposing that another Full House season happens.
Coulier, in particular, shared that he would want a show that’s dedicated to honoring Bob Saget and Danny Tanner’s legacy. There are no concrete plans to do this at this point, but realistically, it would be difficult to do another Full House show with a complete cast. John Stamos has explicitly said that he isn’t interested in revisiting the franchise after Saget’s death, and Jodie Sweetin is on the fence about the idea.
Whether another Full House show happens is currently uncertain, but the cast appears to be very close with each other despite rumors of a feud between Candace Cameron-Bure and Sweetin. So in case there’s a good opportunity to continue the Tanners’ story, it will be easy to assemble them for another spin-off, even if it’s with an incomplete cast.
