Gordon Ramsay, 54, ‘wants another baby’ with wife Tana after welcoming son two years ago
GORDON RAMSAY has revealed he wants another child with wife Tana Ramsay.
Gordon Ramsay, 54, wants to add to his family of seven and have another child. The celebrity chef only welcomed his youngest child, two years ago, but is already preparing to become a father again.
But the couple say the sleepless nights, tantrums and nappies have only added to their desire for more children.
In a new interview with The Mail’s You Magazine, Gordon joked that his wife is four months pregnant.
He quickly added: “Tana would kill me. I’m kidding. No, we’ve talked about having another child. I said it’s a great idea.
“She said, ‘Okay, let’s start planning.’ So I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, hold on for two seconds. I’m going to be the oldest dad at school, what’s going to happen on sports day?’
“But it’s something we’ve still considered, because it’s so much fun to spend time with Oscar.
“Just watching his first walks on the beach at Daymer Bay. Watching his first bites. It’s made us more active and better parents.”
He again clarified that she wasn’t pregnant, but said they were “considering it”.
The couple are already parents to Megan, 23, twins Jack and Holly, 21, Strictly star Tilly, 19, and Oscar
In the same interview, Gordon spoke out for the first time about his daughter Holly’s sexual assault.
The celebrity chef revealed how proud he was of Holly for the way she coped with the horrific incident, which left her suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
He said the lockdown was to thank for helping him understand what his daughter had been through.
Gordon revealed that Holly is in a “great place” after “dealing” with what happened.
He continued: “From a father’s point of view, the pandemic has been perfect because we’ve been able to spend quality time together and we’ve been able to understand what she’s been through, she’s absolutely fine now, there’s been a healing process.”
Gordon added that he is particularly protective when it comes to his three daughters and potential boyfriends.
“Yes, it’s been tough because there are a lot of idiots out there who want to take advantage of our girls,” he explained.
Holly shared that she spent months in a private rehab facility, The Nightingale, after suffering from anxiety, PTSD and depression.
