Ramsay and Fox have launched Studio Ramsay Global with the Rupert Murdoch-owned network, financing the acquisition of 100% of Ramsay’s existing TV business, Studio Ramsay, in partnership with All3Media.

Deadline understands the deal is in the nine-figure range and Fox beat out a number of networks and studios to secure the chef’s culinary expertise.

Fox Alternative Entertainment will serve as the production arm for the new company, marking Fox’s first acquisition in the non-scripted space.

Ramsay will develop, produce and distribute food and lifestyle programming for Fox, where he has worked for years on shows including MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and Hell’s Kitchen. He also has an upcoming cooking competition show, Next Level Chef, for the network. The company will also produce for AVOD service Tubi and international broadcasters.

Studio Ramsay Global, which has offices in L.A. and London, will serve as the exclusive production house for all new series starring and/or produced by Ramsay, while his current shows will continue to be produced by their respective production companies, Endemol Shine North America. Studio Ramsay’s chief creative officer Lisa Edwards will have expanded responsibilities with the newly formed company.

The company’s board of directors will include Ramsay, Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier and Fox Entertainment President of Alternative Entertainment and Specialty Programming Rob Wade.

Ramsay founded his last production company, Studio Ramsay in the UK, in 2016, with series such as Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours To Hell and Back, Nat Geo’s The F-Word Live With Gordon Ramsay and Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted, as well as ITV’s Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip, BBC game show Gordon Ramsay’s Bank Balance and daytime series Culinary Genius.

“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity, not just for me but for the whole team at Studio Ramsay. We will be creating food and lifestyle ideas, while developing an incredible new talent pool of food, drink and industry leaders to create our own culinary talent arm,” said Ramsay. “I couldn’t be more excited about this new global partnership with Fox. After 16 years of great work together, this takes Studio Ramsay to the next level.”

“Gordon Ramsay is the definition of a partner and a friend. He is also the genius behind a global brand that stands for integrity and excellence in food, lifestyle and more. Fox Entertainment is honored to build a long-term relationship with Gordon as we launch Studio Ramsay Global together,” Collier added. “Gordon has been a vital part of the Fox experience for many years, bringing energy, entrepreneurial spirit and a great attitude to Fox. While you never left, Gordon, welcome back, you donut guy.”
