Gordon Ramsay’s dishes are included in the $40,000 package while watching F1 cars pass by
The newly added Las Vegas GP is doing its best to claim the crown for the most lavish race outside of the Monaco GP. In preparation for the 2024 edition, the race has announced a partnership with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. He will team up with F1 to bring his culinary talents to Vegas for around $40,000.
The British chef will oversee a new attraction called Ramsay’s Garage for the weekend. The attraction will feature a three-day track-centric luxury dining experience. The attraction will include accommodations, a special guest chef hosting live cooking stations, Lucky Cat and “Cool Britannia”.
The $40,000 ticket is an all-inclusive ticket that includes all the benefits of a paddock pass. Although the three-day culinary experience is the main attraction.
Speaking about the partnership, the British chef couldn’t hide his excitement. According to Formula1.com, he said, “I’m thrilled to be bringing Ramsay’s Garage to the Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix.”
“As a huge F1 fan, I’ve seen first-hand how closely food and the sport are linked. So, having been to so many races as a spectator, Ramsay’s Garage is a dream come true.”
It’s a dream come true for the 57-year-old, and it’s likely to be the first of many, depending on how well it sells. Promotions will certainly kick off after the announcement. However, it won’t be as exciting as his hot lap around the Las Vegas Street Raceway.
Ramsay’s epic F1 hot lap around the Las Vegas Street Circuit
Ramsay made the trip to Las Vegas for the first round of the Formula 1 Grand Prix. He was a guest of Mercedes for the weekend and had the most exciting experience of the week, a hot lap around the track. He also had the rare opportunity to be driven around the track by Mercedes boss Toto Wolff.
The former driver immediately admitted that he had never driven on a racetrack before so he had no idea about the layout. So when he hit the gas, the profanities started.
The British chef couldn’t control his words as he experienced the pure speed of the Mercedes safety car. However, in the end, he admitted, “It was amazing!”
