‘Happiest dad’ – Gordon Ramsay proud as daughter Tilly graduates
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has said he is the ‘happiest dad in the world’ as daughter Tilly Ramsay graduates from university with a degree in psychology this week.
Gordon Ramsay took to social media to express his pride after daughter Tilly graduated, despite ‘everything you’ve been through’.
Rather than following in her chef father’s footsteps into a professional career, the 22-year-old has gone the academic route and has now completed a Bachelor of Science in psychology after years of study.
Tilly Ramsay was joined by proud parents Gordon and Tana, as well as her sister Holly, to celebrate the occasion as she posed for graduation photos with her scroll and gown.
To mark the occasion, the celebrity chef’s daughter Tilly wore a blue floral silk dress to match her blue-trimmed graduation dress and cap, paired with cream wedges.
Gordon shared his pride in his daughter’s achievements on social media, saying he was “the happiest dad in the world”.
The celebrity chef wrote: “She did it! Honestly how proud we are to see her graduate with a BSc in Psychological Science today makes me the happiest dad in the world. Congratulations babe, well done Tilly”.
Tilly’s sister Holly also shared a close-up photo of Tilly, writing: “The most beautiful graduate. So incredibly proud of you”.
While studying, Holly has also managed to compete in Strictly Come Dancing 2021 as well as Celebrity MasterChef Australia.
The event comes just weeks after Gordon suffered a near-fatal cycling accident in June and used the terrifying experience to highlight the importance of wearing a helmet, saying: “I’m lucky to be standing here.”
