Here’s What to Expect from Bridgerton Season 3
Dear readers, it looks like production has begun on Bridgerton Season 3. Here’s what you need to know about the period drama.
After two successful seasons, Bridgerton is officially one of the best TV shows to debut in the last five years. Viewers are clearly going crazy for it: The first season was so successful that it clocked up 625 million hours of viewing in its first 28 days, cementing its place as one of the best TV shows on Netflix. So it’s no surprise that fans are clamoring for details on Bridgerton Season 3.
Based on the romance novels by Julia Quinn, the period drama follows the story of the upper-class Bridgerton siblings and their quest for love in early 1800s England. The show is produced by Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes, and the cast is much more diverse than your average British period piece, giving it a distinctly modern feel. (Although Queen Charlotte is actually said to be of African descent.)
There’s a fiery romance and plenty of scandal, all told through the eyes of Lady Whistledown, the secret writer of the town’s local tabloids. Will there be a season 3 of Bridgerton? Absolutely. If you’ve finished season 2 of Bridgerton and can’t wait to see what happens in season 3 of Bridgerton, read on for the inside story.
