Inside Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana’s family of eight!
Gordon Ramsay and Tana Hutcheson (now Ramsay) have been married for 27 years since tying the knot in 1996. The couple have welcomed six beautiful children since then.
The couple first became parents when their first child, Megan, was born in 1998. Tana then gave birth to twins, Jack and Holly, in 1999, Matilda (Tilly) in 2003, Oscar in 2019 and their youngest child, Jesse, in 2023.
Gordon and Tana kept her recent pregnancy with their son Jesse a secret and so fans were shocked when the birth of the baby boy was announced.
Gordon and Tana welcomed their sixth child in November 2023. In a very surprising post, Gordon shared photos of his wife, Tana, and their newborn.
Jesse James Ramsay is yet another addition to the Ramsay family… the couple now have three boys and three girls.
Gordon shared adorable photos of Tana with baby Jesse and captioned his post, “What an amazing birthday present, welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lb 10oz baby boy!! Another addition to the Ramsay family!! 3 boys, 3 girls… Done.”
However, Tana shared a much more heartbreaking truth on her own Instagram page. Tana shared that being pregnant with Jesse was a very worrying time for her after she miscarried her previous son, Rocky, at five months.
“It’s been a stressful nine months but we’ve come through it and we’ve been blessed with this little one,” Tana shared. Tana also revealed that this will be the couple’s last addition to their family… six kids will make for a busy household!
Gordon and his wife welcomed their second-youngest child Oscar in 2019 and the couple discussed having a sixth child at the time.
Gordon spoke to The Mail’s You Magazine in 2021 and revealed that he and Tana had “discussed having another child”.
“I said that’s a great idea. She said, ‘Okay, let’s start planning.’ So I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, hold on for two seconds. I’m going to be the oldest dad at school, what happens on sports day?'” he said.
“But it’s something we’re still considering, because it’s fun to spend time with Oscar.”
Gordon went on to add that their youngest child at the time had kept them “super motivated” and made them “better parents”, and that although Tana wasn’t pregnant at the time, they were “considering it”.
Their eldest daughter, Megan, was the first in the family to go to university, graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2019 with a degree in psychology.
Following in her sister’s footsteps, Jack attended Dulwich College and then Exeter University, but in 2020 he joined the Royal Marines.
His twin sister Holly studied Fashion Design at university to become a model, and she is also signed to the agency Establish Models.
Her modelling profile says she is “using her platform to inspire others to create unique and relatable content while travelling between London and LA”.
Tilly, or Matilda, looks like she’s most like her dad and is ready to show off her skills in the MasterChef kitchen.
She’s appeared on a number of cooking shows and written a cookbook called Matilda & The Ramsay Bunch: Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover and has also appeared on Gordon’s MasterChef Junior and Hell’s Kitchen.
Gordon and Tana’s youngest children, Oscar and Jesse, appear to be best friends!
In March 2024, the pair posted these adorable snaps to their Instagram of the boys playing together.
On Mother’s Day 2024, both Gordon and Tana took to Instagram to share a few snaps of all six of their children together.
“Happy Mother’s Day to everyone, and thinking of those who are finding this day difficult, sending lots of love,” Tana wrote. “I feel so blessed to be a Mum to these amazing people x”.
