Jennifer Aniston ‘kept to herself’ at Matthew Perry’s funeral as Friends co-stars ‘cried’

Jennifer Aniston was among the high-profile mourners who were in attendance at her Friends co-star Matthew Perry’s funeral.

According to an onlooker, the Rachel Green star was “one of the first to arrive” at the hour-long burial.

Jennifer was photographed dressed in black alongside Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer as they entered the Forest Lawn cemetery.
They were then joined outside by their emotional cast member Matt LeBlanc

Matthew’s emotional parents were also in attendance, his mother Suzanne Morrison, and Dateline journalist stepfather Keith, and father John Perry.The source told Daily Mail, that Jennifer “kept herself to herself” as they remarked: “This is a high profile gathering.”

Outside the service, the friends were photographed comforting each other with hugs, which took place opposite where Friends was filmed for a decade at Warner Brothers studios.

The insider revealed: “There was not a dry eye in there. There were a lot of tears and laughter. Only close friends and family spoke.”

Before his death, Matthew named Jennifer as one of his supporters and even paid tribute to her in an interview for his 2022 memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.During his conversation with Diane Sawyer and recalled: “Jennifer says, ‘We know you’re drinking.’
“She was the one that reached out the most. You know, I’m really grateful to her for that.”

The Daily Mail reported a source close to Jennifer revealed: “It doesn’t matter whether he died as a result of a freak accident or whether it was directly connected to his drug issues, this was a day that Jennifer has dreaded coming for 20 years.

“She always wanted to help Matthew any way she could – that was a constant for her.”
