Jennifer Aniston’s unusual habit on Friends set revealed by her co-star Courteney Cox

Courtney Cox revealed Jennifer Aniston’s frequent habit during her time on the show and said she was puzzled by her actions.Actress Jennifer Aniston had an unusual habit when filming Friends: taking home clothing from the show’s wardrobe department and keeping it.

The Rachel Green star, who last month shared a heartbreaking tribute to her co-star Matthew Perry a year after his death, would keep the threads even if her character never wore it.

Her chronic habit was revealed by Friends star Courteney Cox on the Fashion Neurosis podcast in October.Cox said Aniston was allowed by the show to take home items but she was puzzled by her decision to hoard her characters clothes.

She said: “She took a lot of Monica’s dresses, and she’ll say, ‘Oh yeah, I used to wear this on Friends.'””And I mean, it looks great on her. She has a great figure and she’s adorable. But I’m like, ‘Why would you take this floral little prairie dress from Friends?’ But she holds on to everything.”

Cox told host Bella Freud that she “didn’t love the 90s clothes” that she had to wear and would never take them home.

David Arquette’s ex added that her buddy took some of her character Monica Gellar’s clothes too.

Cox explained: “She took a lot of Monica’s dresses, and she’ll say, “Oh yeah, I used to wear this on Friends.”

Cox said she did not take home duds because she does not want to keep the same things, adding: “I get bored and I don’t like a lot of things. I don’t have a big closet…. If I don’t wear it for a while, it’s gone.”

Cox’s revelation comes after Aniston admitted in 2021 that she pinched one of her costume dresses from the set of the show, which aired between 1994 and 2004.

The actress told People she took “a dress that Monica wore,” adding: “I went into her line of clothes and I pulled it out and I still have it and wear it to this day.'”
