Justin Hartley’s Deepest Quotes About His Hit CBS Series ‘Tracker’: It’s Just the Beginning
Pernas said her appearance on Tracker “opened a door” for a potential sequel.
“I love her. She’s a great character. She tries to hide a lot because, obviously, she’s very vulnerable,” she told ET. “I think that’s what’s great, watching them both act. Obviously, he’s very confident and commanding and strong when he walks into the room, but I think, because of their history and everything that’s going on, it’s great to see that peephole in vulnerability.”
“I don’t think there’s room in Colter’s life for it to be a recurring thing because they’re both in completely different places,” Pernas noted to Parade in March 2024. “But I think [Billie] just pops in and out of his life and messes up a few people, or maybe not, on the way out. That’s the beauty of the whole thing.
Locked in the Plan
In a March 2024 interview, Pernas confirmed that she would return after Tracker was renewed for another season.
“It’s definitely going to be a season 2,” she told People of her eventual return. “I think there’s just so much that Colter has to deal with before we get to Billie.”
Official
Hartley revealed in May 2024 that Pernas was just one of the guest stars who would be returning for future episodes of the CBS series, telling Collider, “[Sofia] is coming back. Jensen [Ackles] is coming back. Melissa [Roxburgh] is coming back. There’s another leak for you. They’re all coming back.”
Teasing the Highly Anticipated Reunion
“I like the dynamic, like, you can look at it as a competition, but there’s also a history there,” Hartley told Us Weekly in July 2024 about what fans can expect from Colter and Billie in season 2. “So there’s a little bit of bad blood, but also like, ‘Are they going to patch things up? Are they not? You know, can you trust her? I don’t know if you can.’” I mean, she hasn’t proven that you can trust her, that Colter can trust her. So we’ll see how that plays out. There’s just a lot of, you know, a lot of room to work with that relationship.”
