The highly anticipated production from the home team Lislea Dramatic Players will be on stage tomorrow Wednesday 28 February at Lislea with an all-female cast of the heartbreaking American play Steel Magnolias directed by Aengus Hannaway. The play delighted a packehouse at their preview performance at festival launch earlier this month.
It’s too late for a ticket this time though as it is SOLD OUT but it is returning in April. The play set in a beauty parlour in the 80s deals with the life, love, laughter, and heartbreak of a group of 6 remarkable woman and how their strong bond of friendship gets them through births, deaths, marriage, divorce and hair dos . Tears and laughter will flow as this ensemble of fabulous actors deliver a spellbinding performance of this highly entertaining production . This is one play not to be missed so for those not lucky enough to get a ticket during the festival there will be 2 charity performances on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th of April.
