Love Is Blind Season 7 Couples Who Got Engaged

Love Is Blind returned for another thrilling season, where 29 singles from Washington DC entered the pods and some left engaged. The seventh installment of the dating experiment presented its first six episodes, showing the initial connections in the pods, the love triangles, and their getaway to Mexico. Love Is Blind season 7 cast members had a wide range of professional backgrounds, including military veterans, scientists, journalists, lawyers, and more.

In Love Is Blind season 7, relationships were formed, several contestants proposed, and some said yes, leaving many wondering if they’d survive real-life pressures. For some of them, meeting for the first time unlocked some fears of what their future would hold, while for others, there was some excitement to see what the new transition would look like. There have been a couple of successful Love Is Blind stories, but only a few from the previous season are still together. Here are the Love Is Blind season 7 couples who got engaged in the pods.

Hannah Jiles & Nick Dorka

They Had A Dramatic Interaction In The Pods

Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka could be labeled as one of the most dramatic couples in Love Is Blind, season 7. Nick, 29, came off as a smooth operator due to his calm demeanor when interacting with Hannah. She even nicknamed him Mr Suave. At first, she thought that was a red flag, and within the first couple of episodes, the two had broken up and gotten back together. All along, Hannah had reservations about Nick. He was a former football player who seemed to know all the right things to say. At one point, Hannah said:

“Yeah he’s sultry, but he’ll probably ruin my life.”

Besides discussing their high school days, when Hannah was a cheerleader and Nick played football, the rest of their conversations focused more on their physical appearance. At the same time, Hannah was talking to her other potential match—a self-proclaimed privileged art dealer, Leo Braudy. Leo tried forcing Hannah into a relationship with him, but she refused and accepted Nick’s proposal.

However, upon meeting in person for the first time, Hannah wasn’t pleased with what her future husband looked like. She felt he misrepresented himself, telling the cameras, “In the pods, he described himself as a football player – big, medium build, like 5-foot-11. And what he said, I don’t think, is really truthful.” Hannah explained she felt like she was bigger than him, building her insecurities. It will be a matter of time before viewers know if the pair got married.

Taylor Krause & Garrett Hoseman

They Seemed Like A Match Made In Heaven

Taylor Krause, a clean policy consultant, and Garrett Hoseman, a quantum physicist, had a lot of incredible conversations during their time in the Love Is Blind pods. During their early interactions, Taylor was vulnerable and spoke about being fetishized by potential suitors. This was based on preconceived ideas people have had due to her race.

The fetishization of certain ethnic groups stems from a couple of things, including media-driven stereotypes and cultural and historical aspects, making people from certain ethnic groups seen as “exotic.”

Taylor told Garrett she wanted to be on the social experiment so she didn’t have to have her “ethnicity be part of the equation.” Their matching tattoos and love for science prove that the two might be soulmates for real. This Love Is Blind couple’s connection continued even after meeting in person, and they have been inseparable since their engagement.

Monica Davis & Stephen Richardson

They Were The Strongest Love Is Blind Season 7 Couples

Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson appeared to get vulnerable in the pods. They discussed their past struggles, regrets, and their life journeys. Stephen admitted to previously cheating, voting for Trump, and a couple of other life regrets.

The Love Is Blind couple held a safe space for each other, strengthening their connection, which translated into their real-life interactions. However, things got heated in Mexico when Monica revealed Stephen talked too much, making it hard for him sometimes to listen to her. In a few weeks, Love Is Blind will reveal what happened to Monica and Stephen and if they walked down the aisle.

Ashley Adionser & Tyler Francis

They Were Made For Each Other

Ashley Adionser and Tyler Francis were meant for each other. The duo bonded in the pods and got engaged and were thrilled to meet each other. This Love Is Blind couple has also been drama-free, with Ashley and Tyler enjoying their time together in Mexico. Nonetheless, Tyler and Ashley look like they’ll later experience some problems. In a Love Is Blind teaser, the camera caught Ashley wiping tears away, hinting there was trouble in paradise.

Alexandra Byrd & Tim Godbee

Had An Intense Fight Off-Screen

Alexandra Byrd and Tim Godbee had a strong connection but later experienced some issues. The two bonded over their determination to find someone special and grow together. However, things escalated pretty fast after their engagement, and the trip to Mexico in one of their intense fights wasn’t captured on camera. It was so bad Tim had to sleep in separate rooms while in Cabo. Although the couple didn’t break up in the moment, the relationship is clearly fractured and they may not make it to their wedding day.

Marissa George & Ramses Prashad

Marissa & Ramses Are A Perfect Match

Marissa George and Ramses Prashad had one of the healthiest love triangles in the Love Is Blind pods. Marissa was torn between Ramses and a military veteran, Bohdan Olinares. Having spent seven years in the Navy, Marissa sought something different. Perhaps that was why she didn’t want to try things out with Bohdan, a fellow military personnel with whom they had an okay connection. Ramses made her comfortable with Marissa, expressing how she loved his take on gender roles and masculinity (via Love Is Blind Netflix).

“Something I will say about you that I find so attractive is how comfortable you’re talking about gender roles, how there’s the toxic masculinity and how like you lean away from that. I think that’s like so attractive.”

Therefore, she navigated through the love triangle smoothly and came out to the other side unscathed, ultimately choosing Ramses. There were fireworks when Ramses and Marissa met for the first time. A charming Ramses warmed many Love Is Blind viewers while proposing to Marissa, stating he found her “extraordinarily beautiful.” Their connection and how well they communicated is a good sign, showing the two most probably made it to the altar and are still together even after Love Is Blind stopped filming.

Brittany Wisniewski & Leo Braudy

Brittany & Leo Are Not Together

Brittany Wisniewski and Leo weren’t among the six couples chosen to continue their journey to Mexico. While Leo and Brittany had a decent connection in the pods, they also tried to form other relationships. The pair were involved in a love square. Brittany felt so strongly for Leo, who liked Hannah so much, that he tried to convince her why they were a good match. The art dealer practically begged Hannah to marry him, which she declined and chose to focus on Nick. With his only other option being Brittany, Leo proposed.

Upon meeting, it was evident Brittany and Leo wouldn’t have exchanged their vows had they continued their Love Is Blind journey. It is hard to pinpoint one thing that made them incompatible, since Brittany and Leo didn’t seem to lack physical attraction towards one another, and their communication was decent. Still, there was something off in their relationship. Eventually, the duo opted for their excursion to Miami and broke off their engagement while on vacation together.
