Marla Sokoloff says her three kids were shocked by the way their mother’s Full House character acted.

While appearing as a guest on Dave Coulier’s podcast, Full House Rewind, the actress, 43, detailed that her daughters — Harper Bea Puro, 2, Elliotte Anne, 12, and Olive Mae, 8, whom she shares with husband Alec Puro — have watched their mom play Gia on Full House.

“Do your kids watch you? Did they watch Full House?” Coulier, 64, asked Sokoloff, who explained, “They started with Fuller House, and then I was like, ‘Guys, you need to watch the original. You gotta start from scratch.’ And then they got into that one.”

Knowing that Gia was Stephanie Tanner’s bad influence friend, Coulier inquired, “What do you tell them when they see Gia? ‘Don’t act like that?’ “

“Exactly,” Sokoloff replied with a laugh. “Especially with the smoking stuff. They’re horrified.”

She then recalled their initial reaction to smoking scenes, saying, “They were like, ‘Mom! You’re smoking?!’ “

“They were delicious,” Sokoloff joked to Coulier.

Back in 2022, Coulier opened up about his time on the series and admitted that he would participate in a new Full House reboot “in a heartbeat” while appearing on The Tamron Hall Show.

After host Tamron Hall asked the actor whether fans of the beloved sitcom would get to see the cast return for a “new version” of the series, the podcast host joked, “Yeah, Fullest House, right?”

“We talk all the time [about] how much we would love to do a show again. We just love working and we love our fans so much and we love the whole process,” he continued.

Coulier added, “We just love what the show is and what it means to people. And so we’re always raring to go.”
