Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg have been friends for 15 years, and the celebrity chef has seemingly now taken their friendship to another level.
On Friday (February 10), Stewart took to Instagram with a photo that appears to show her getting a tattoo of Snoop on her upper left arm. The portrait includes the words “My Dogg” underneath it.
“My Dogg! Thanks for the amazing tattoo @scottcampbell. Forever linked in ink to my favorite @snoopdogg,” Stewart captioned her picture.
Tattooist Scott Campbell marked the moment with his own post, writing: “I got to tattoo a legend onto a legend. Thanks @marthastewart48 and @snoopdogg. I can retire now.”
It’s not made clear whether or not the tattoo is permanent, but fans and friends of Stewart flooded the comments section of her post to commend her on the new ink.
“Just when I thought I couldn’t love you more,” Grey’s Anatomy actor Ellen Pompeo wrote, while comedian Amy Schumer added: “Live queen! [fire emoji]”
Fredwreck, the West Coast producer and DJ for Stewart and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, wrote: “Go Martha!!!!”
One fan commented: “I don’t even care if this is fake, I am LIVING for it!” while another added: “Is this fake news or real news? We need to know Martha.”
Some are speculating the tattoo is part of a stunt for a Super Bowl commercial, although it’s not yet been confirmed.
Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart’s friendship goes all the way back to 2008 when they met during a segment on The Martha Stewart Show. In 2016, the pair launched a cooking show on VH1 called Potluck Dinner Party, which was nominated for an Emmy in 2017. A year later, they collaborated on a cookbook together.
