Meet the Cast of Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton’ Spin-Off
The show has found a young Queen Charlotte.
Netflix and Shondaland have revealed the cast of the limited series based on the origins of Queen Charlotte (played by Golda Rosheuval) from Bridgerton.
Rosheuval, Adjoa Andoh and Ruth Gemmell will reprise their roles as Queen Charlotte, Lady Agatha Danbury and Lady Violet Bridgerton. They are joined by India Amarteifio as young Queen Charlotte, Michelle Fairley as Princess Augusta, Corey Mylchrees as young King George, Arsema Thomas as young Agatha Danbury, Sam Clemmett as young Brimsley, Richard Cunningham as Lord Bute, Tunji Kasim as Adolphus, Rob Maloney as the Royal Physician, Cyril Nri as Lord Danbury and Hugh Sachs as an older Brimsley.
According to the streaming giant, the show will focus on “the rise and power of Queen Charlotte.” “This Bridgerton-verse prequel tells the story of how the young Queen’s marriage to King George sparked both a great love story and social upheaval, creating the world of Ton that the Bridgerton characters inherit,” the description adds.
