‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Star Vanessa Lachey Speaks Out About ‘Gut-Wrenching’ Cancellation

Vanessa Lachey posted about how she explained the drama ending to her daughter.

The NCIS: Hawai’i star shared a selfie of her and her daughter, Brooklyn, 9, to her Instagram Story.

Vanessa played Jane Tennant, the Special Agent-in-Charge of the Hawai’i unit of NCIS.

Brooklyn smiled at the camera as she sat next to her mom.

“Trying to explain this news to my daughter… and she makes me Mickey ears, so I can ‘smile,'” Vanessa captioned the photo.

Nick Lachey’s wife wore Mickey Mouse ears that had the letters “NC” on one ear and “IS” on the other.“This decision was bigger than a TV show,” Vanessa ended.

Her other children – Camden and Phoenix – were not in the photo.

Vanessa recently opened up about NCIS: Hawai’i being canceled and how she was blindsided by the decision.

One day after NCIS: Hawai’i was officially canceled, Vanessa broke her silence.

She posted on her Instagram Story once again.
