New ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 Photos Featuring Penelope and Colin Released

New photos from the upcoming third season of ‘Bridgerton’ have been released.

The images, featuring Luke Newton as Colin Bridgerton and Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington, were shared at Netflix’s Tudum Event in São Paulo, Brazil, over the weekend.

The new season of Shonda Rhimes’ hit series, based on the book series by Julia Quinn, will follow the love story of Colin and Penelope.

Coughlan told Shondaland that her character “is going into this era of women” in the upcoming season.

“Luke [Newton] and I are sharing this experience together, which is great because he’s someone who completely understands what you’re going through and we can be a united front on everything,” she said. “We can talk about scenes that we’re nervous about or things like that. Obviously we’ve had scenes together from the beginning, but this is definitely different.”

Along with Coughlan and Newton, other returning cast members include Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Luke Thompson, Ruth Gemmell, Golda Rosheuvel, Claudia Jessie and Martins Imhangbe, among others.

Production on this season begins in July 2022.

A release date for season three of “Bridgerton” has yet to be announced.
