Tracker Season 2: CBS Announces Premiere Date – What Lays Ahead
There’s good news for Tracker fans, as the Season 2 premiere date has finally been announced by CBS. Still, there is some bad news regarding all this as it seems fans will have to wait longer than anticipated to pick up where things were left off in Season 1.
CBS has finally announced some major premiere dates for shows on their 2024 fall schedule, and the Justin Hartley series has been up high on many fans’ lists when it comes to finding out when the new season is rolling out.
Tracker, Season 2 will debut on Sunday, October 27 at 8:30 p.m. ET after football and 60 Minutes. Moving forward, it will air on CBS Sunday nights at 8:00 p.m. versus its Season 1 schedule of Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
While fans may be slightly sad that Tracker’s Season 2 is starting later in the fall, one reason for this is due to reality TV show, Big Brother 26 not ending until October 13. Another reason seems to be that the network wants fewer hiatuses and more straight runs of new episodes.
Tracker Season 2: What Fans Should Expect
There hasn’t been a ton of information released about Tracker, Season 2, nor a preview promo for what lies ahead in the new season; however, fans should brace themselves for more drama with Colter Shaw’s family history. It also looks like both Colter’s older brother and younger sister will return for Season 2.
Star and executive producer, Justin Hartley recently confirmed at the Summer Television Critics Association 2024 Press Tour that Jensen Ackles would reprise his role as Russell Shaw for Season 2, and Elwood Reid, the series’ showrunner noted that Ackles appearance would be “more than one” episode.
In addition, Reid also told TVLine that Dory Shaw would also be “coming back” for Tracker’s Season 2, as actress Melissa Roxburgh will return to dive into that role, once again!
