Nicola Coughlan made a dazzling entrance at the premiere of Season Three of Netflix’s “Bridgerton” in Bowral, Australia on Sunday.
Coughlan walked the red carpet in a black beaded off-the-shoulder dress, which was custom-made by British designer Richard Quinn. The actress added on a pair of large stud earrings and peep-toe Malone Souliers heels.
“A special thank you to THE Richard Quinn,” Coughlan wrote on Instagram. “I contacted him because I have been obsessed with this dress since I first saw it on the runway and dreamed of wearing it. I asked him if he and his brilliant team made it for me and they they did and it’s better than I ever could’ve imagined!”
Coughlan was assisted by stylist Aimée Croysdill, whose other clients include Marisa Abela, Ellie Bamber and Freya Allan.
Hairdresser Gavin Anesbury styled Coughlan’s blond tresses straightened, while makeup artist Daniel Martin gave the actress rosy blush and deep red lip.
Season Three of “Bridgerton” sees Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington strike up a romance with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
The first season, which debuted in 2020, focused on the love life of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the family, and her relationship with Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page), while the second, which premiered in 2022, spotlighted Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the family’s eldest son and his search for a wife, which he found in Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
Season Three of “Bridgerton” premieres in two separate parts, with the first four episodes dropping May 16. The final four episodes will premiere on June 13.“Bridgerton” has gone beyond the small screen and made its mark on the fashion industry — a regencycore craze emerged thanks to the popular Netflix series, with brands like Malone Souliers, Pat McGrath Labs and Beekman 1802 launching “Bridgerton” collaborations.
