Gordon Ramsay has a big family — but luckily, they’re all able to pitch in.
Speaking to PEOPLE about his partnership with Welch’s Fruit Snacks, the celebrity chef and dad of six, 57, opened up about how his younger kids have been learning new things from his older ones. Ramsay and his wife Tana share six kids — Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 24, and Matilda “Tilly,” 22, Oscar, 5, and Jesse, 6 months.
“I think I’m a better dad this time round if I’m honest,” Ramsay admits to PEOPLE.
“I know I’m better because I’ve got experience now and so I think we’ve done a good job so far with the first four,” he continues. “And the second part of this family, with the other two little ones, I think they’re in a great position because they’re getting educated a lot earlier from their bigger, older siblings, and they’re fascinated with their careers.”

“And Oscar understands what a police officer does now because his big sister is one, and then he’s still trying to put Jack’s Green Beret on,” the proud dad continues. “He has his Royal Marine commando hoodies that he wants to wear to school and I’m trying to tell him it’s not part of the school uniform.”
“So as a 5-year-old, he’s picking up the importance of working and career wise. It’s pretty incredible,” Ramsay adds.
In April, Ramsay celebrated his son Oscar’s 5th birthday, posting a photo on Instagram. Carrying Oscar on his shoulders, Ramsay smiled for the camera and held his son’s stuffed animal.

Oscar grinned on his dad’s shoulders, bearing a striking resemblance to the TV personality. “Happy 5th Birthday to this little man @oscarjramsay love you so much OJR Dad ❤️❤️❤️,” Ramsay wrote in his caption.
Back in January, the celebrity chef spoke with PEOPLE and shared whether he’d be open to welcoming a seventh child into the mix.
Telling a funny anecdote about son Oscar, the dad of six revealed, “This morning, Oscar said, ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if Jesse and I had a little sister?’ And I spat my Cheerios out. So yeah, I had to get up from the table and walk away.”
“I didn’t wait to see Tana’s reaction. I literally coughed my Cheerios out all over the table,” he added, before teasing, “So yeah, listen, who knows, right?”
