Gordon Ramsay has brutal parenting rules and he’s not leaving his fortune to his kids
Gordon has said that his kids are ‘definitely not’ getting his fortune.Aside from cooking, Gordon Ramsay is perhaps best known for his severe demeanour in the kitchen, taking no nonsense from chefs, contestants, and restauranteurs – but surely he’s a little softer on his kids?No chance. The award-winning chef has enforced a series of very strict rules for his five kids that they *have* to follow.
Oh, and he has already decided that they’re not getting any of his fortune, either.Gordon and his wife Tana are parents to Megan, 24, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Matilda (Tilly), 21, and Oscar, three.
But contrary to what you might think, the Ramsay kids don’t get any special treatment, and growing up with a world-famous dad doesn’t mean that much. For starters, Gordon has already warned his kids that they shouldn’t expect any money from him in their inheritance.
The Hell’s Kitchen star, who has never been ‘turned on about the money’, told the Telegraph back in 2017 that he has no intentions of passing on money to his kids that they didn’t earn.”It’s definitely not going to them, and that’s not in a mean way, it’s to not spoil them. The only thing I’ve agreed with Tana is that they get a 25% deposit on a flat, but not the whole flat,” he said.
Not one to let his kids fall under the ‘nepo baby’ umbrella, Gordon is determined to make sure his kids work for their money and don’t get a leg-up from their dad.Speaking on US Radio in 2019, he explained: “I’m firm, I’m fair and I will give you everything I’ve got to get you to the very top. And that’s it, no bulls**t.
“I take a lot of flak for being straight and honest, but I’m not worried about that f***ing snowflake generation. He added: “It’s like not employing the kids. I don’t want the staff thinking, ‘F**k it’s Ramsay’s kid, we can’t tell them off’.
“You want to work in this business? You f**k off to another chef, learn something different and come back with something new to improve the business.”Lovely.Even when Gordon and his family take a trip, you’ll find him and his wife in first class, while the kids fly economy.
“I turn left with Tana and they turn right and I say to the chief stewardess: ‘Make sure those little f***ers don’t come anywhere near us, I want to sleep on this plane’,” he told the Telegraph.”I worked my f***ing arse off to sit that close to the pilot and you appreciate it more when you’ve grafted for it.”
And the rules don’t stop at money restrictions, either.Gordon’s kids can’t get away with anything.

Gordon has previously said that one of his kids becoming vegetarian would be his ‘biggest nightmare’, and he would ‘sit them on the fence and electrocute them’ if they told him as much.
Despite Gordon having a mouth like a sailor in the kitchen, he’s determined to make sure his kids don’t take after him.”Swearing is industry language,” he explained to The Mirror.
“For as long as we’re alive it’s not going to change. You’ve got to be boisterous to get results.
“They [the kids] know I’ve said bad words. I say it is an industry language. They don’t swear. They don’t walk around shouting the f-word.”Best of luck with that then, Gordon…Featured Image Credit: gordongram/instragram

He’s one of several famous figures who isn’t leaving their fortune to his kids
Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana have welcomed a sixth child into their family, with the celebrity chef announcing the birth on social media yesterday (11 November).
Posting a picture of the new addition to the family on Instagram, Ramsay said the baby was called Jesse James. He also noted that with the birth of their son they now had three boys and three girls, finishing off his message with the word ‘done’.
Whether that means it’ll be no more kids for Gordon and Tana or whether he’s just referencing the word he likes to say when he’s finished cooking up a dish remains to be seen, but the 57-year-old chef is understandably over the moon at getting a new family member.
However, while he’ll grow up the son of a celebrity chef, little Jesse James is not going to see much of his father’s fortune as Gordon has said that when he goes he won’t be leaving it to his kids.
It’s baby number six for Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana.
