Kapanlagi.com – The Netflix series BRIDGERTON will reportedly return to broadcast with a third season in 2024. This series, inspired by the novel by Julia Quinn, tells many romantic, family and friendship stories involving the Bridgerton family against the backdrop of the Regency era in England.
This series began its first season showing the love story of the first Bridgerton princess, Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) with Simon Basset (Rege Jean Page). Continued with their second season which tells the story of the romance between the eldest son of the Bridgerton family, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simon Ashley).
Through the YouTube channel on December 12 2023, Netflix announced the broadcast date for the series BRIDGERTON season 3. In this season, the series BRIDGERTON again tells the love story of another family member, namely Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) who is a figure original Lady Whistledown in the series. There is also their story which many fans have been waiting for, considering the potential for a romantic story between the two characters which has been seen since the first season of BRIDGERTON.
1. Synopsis
In the third season, the BRIDGERTON series will focus on the love story between Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. A little flashback about Penelope who fell in love with Colin for a long time, Penelope decided to move on after being heartbroken when she heard Colin say he would not seduce Penelope.
In an effort to forget Colin, Penelope focuses on finding a future husband while her identity as Lady Whistledown is unknown. Penelope decides to look for a future husband who can protect her identity away from the supervision of her brother and mother. However, Penelope’s lack of self-confidence makes her fail to find a husband.
On the other hand, Colin has just returned from a summer trip with his new look. Colin was disappointed when he found that Penelope, his old friend, was cold. Colin decides to rekindle their friendship by helping Penelope find a future husband for her. However, Colin experiences inner struggles that question his own feelings for Penelope, while Penelope begins to find it increasingly difficult to hide her identity after she experiences many developments.

2. Has Two Parts
Through the BRIDGERTON season 3 teaser which aired on December 12 2023, Netflix announced that the third season will officially air on May 16 2024. However, this season will have two parts which will be broadcast separately. But don’t worry, because the second part will be broadcast not a month after the first part, on June 13 2024 to be precise. This season will have a total of 8 episodes with the title “Out of the Shadows” in the first episode.
3. The presence of new actors

Netflix confirmed that several new actors will join the BRIDGERTON series in their third series. Daniel Francis from the series STAY CLOSE will play a charismatic newcomer named Marcus Anderson. There is also James Phoon who plays Harry Dankworth, a man who looks dashing and handsome even though he is not very intelligent. Sam Phillips from THE CROWN series will also join BRIDGERTON season 3 and appear in the role of Lord Debling.

Apart from several cast members who are not returning in this series, such as Regé-Jean Page who refused to reprise his role as the Duke of Hastings since season two, fans will be satisfied to see many of the cast members returning in season 3 this time.
