Signs Love Is Blind Season 7’s Ramses Prashad Was A Producer Plant (He Left Marissa George Too Abruptly)

Love Is Blind season 7 featured a group of participants who struggled through the experiment, including Ramses Prashad who many have been curious about as rumors swirl that he could’ve been a producer plant throughout the season. Ramses, who was featured on Love Is Blind season 7 from the early episodes, is part of the Washington, D.C. based cast of singles. Coming to Love Is Blind looking for the experience of a lifetime and a potential match from the pod phase of the experiment, Ramses was akin to all of the other singles involved in the season’s early episodes

Though he quickly connected with Marissa George in the pods, and though she had other connections she was exploring, the pair ultimately got engaged. Excited about the future, it was clear that Ramses and Marissa were on the same page in some areas, but things weren’t exactly simple for the couple as they moved through their relationship. Despite knowing that Marissa’s background included some military experience and that her personality was intense in an overwhelming way, Ramses moved forward with the relationship for weeks. When he finally called things off, Love Is Blind viewers struggled to understand Ramses’ genuine motivations.

Ramses Pushed Marissa To Choose Him In The Pods

She Had Other Connections That May Have Been Stronger

Although Ramses and Marissa were each other’s choices in the pods, things weren’t as cut and dry as they’ve been for other Love Is Blind couples. While Marissa enjoyed Ramses and said she had fun in the conversations they had, she’d also connected with another guy in the pods who she felt strongly for. Bohdan Olinares, who Marissa found herself enamored with during her time in the pods, was someone she wanted to continue to get to know, but Ramses was pushing her in another direction.

While Ramses and Marissa had some issues they needed to work through within the pods, he wanted to wind up with the 32-year-old future lawyer. While Ramses, a 35-year-old non-profit program associate, knew that he had issues with some points of Marissa’s background, he pushed her to choose him over Bohdan in the pods despite knowing that the other pair was a decent match, too. Marissa’s difficult decision was motivated by Ramses’ pressure, which could stem from Ramses having been pushed by producers to keep himself on the show. As a potential plant, Ramses could’ve been encouraged to push Marissa.

After Love Is Blind season 7’s pod phase ended, Ramses was upfront with Mariss about the things he didn’t like about her life and personality. Though Ramses wasn’t perfect by any means, he was clear with Marissa that he didn’t enjoy her military background or intense personality. Ramses made it clear that he wouldn’t be okay with her ever returning to active duty in the military, despite Marissa not having talked about that being an option. He also shared that her personality was overwhelming for him, which he may not have done without security from Love Is Blind producers.

Although Ramses had issues with Marissa, he didn’t indicate that he was second-guessing their relationship entirely. Toward the end of Love Is Blind season 7, it was clear that Ramses and Marissa were having some tense moments. To viewers’ surprise, Ramses chose to end his engagement with Marissa just days before their wedding, shocking her and breaking her heart. He struggled to explain himself, making some believe that Ramses was always going to dump Marissa and didn’t know how to tell her. If he was a Love Is Blind producer plant, he could’ve been planning his sinister behavior all along.
