After having a terrific Paris Olympics campaign, Simone Biles is already embarking on something new. She’s returning with the second edition of the Gold over America tour. Numerous gymnasts like Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Hexly Riviera and Brody Malone are set to appear in the show. The first tour post-Tokyo Olympics was heavily loved by the fans filled with performances by their beloved gymnasts. Now, it seems to be even better as it might come with something completely new.
In an Instagram story uploaded by Simone Biles, male gymnasts were performing the beam, balancing in the apparatus. This could be something completely new to the sport itself and bring a revolution to it. This is because the beam category is only available to female gymnasts in the Olympics, not males. Floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, and high bar were the ones they performed in Paris. It could be interesting to see if the Gold over America tour could bring the beam to the other side of the equation too, changing the sport forever.
