In an ad by The Martin Agency, the West Coast rappers tell audiences why Solo Stove’s fire pits are hot — no G Funk needed.
Solo Stove, the purveyor of smokeless fire pits, is turning up the heat with its latest marketing blitz. Teaming up once again with Snoop Dogg and his old-school sidekick Warren G., Solo Stove is launching its boldest campaign yet: ‘Blunt Marketing.’
Created in partnership with The Martin Agency, the new creative campaign is as straightforward as it gets. A new commercial released today features Snoop and Warren G. engaging in a no-nonsense blunt session.
Only this time, they’re not puffing away but getting straight to the point about their love for Solo Stove’s gear. “Look. Y’all know I’m the king of the buzz. But now I’m all about being blunt,” Snoop declares in the ad. “And I’ll be even more blunt—I’m here because you’re more likely to buy this fire pit because I’m Snoop. Facts.”
The ad epitomizes tongue-in-cheek humor, riffing off the viral success of Solo Stove’s previous social stunt from last year, ‘Snoop Goes Smokeless,’ where Snoop allegedly ditched weed, inspiring even fellow rapper Coi Leray to follow suit.
“This campaign dares to cut through the smoke in a way that only Solo Stove can deliver,” said Luana Bumachar, chief marketing officer of Solo Brands. “With Snoop Dogg bringing his inimitable style and charisma to this campaign, we are not just pushing boundaries — we are defining them. We brought Snoop back in an entirely new way with a deliberate nod to how brands engage influencers to promote their products. This isn’t just marketing – it’s blunt, direct, unapoAlogetic and entertaining. And we’re confident in this approach, because we know our products deliver every time.”
As part of the campaign, the brand is rolling out limited-edition merch, including a Snoop x Solo Stove Fire Pit, custom fire rings and surround lights. Plus, if consumers buy a Bonfire or MesaXL, they can win some exclusive Snoop Dogg gear like a hat, hoodie or water bottle while supplies last.
The full-funnel campaign is set to run across video, digital, social, influencer and retail channels. Look out for the commerial on high-profile spots like Thursday Night Football, NFL Ticket, The Voice, TikTok and Amazon. The work will through the year, leading into fall with three new product launches from Solo Stove.
